  1. As it is too late for Issue 3, we'll have to include this in Issue 4, so we might as well start discussion now.

The UK furry musical Yiff! is to receive a reading on 27 and 29 September at Goldsmiths College, New Cross, London.

  2. It's never too late :D

Fact of the matter is that I've only really got half a fanzine here. And I have no sodding time this week or next to make anything decent. It's a right crapula.

  3. I've just found out this story that may be of interest. A Doemain of our Own is stop producing a comic strip, and is to instead become a comic book.

  4. I have an idea for something we can start in Issue 4 and can be reported in later issues.

Now, so far there have been two surveys into the furry fandom published, and one due to be published in November. However, the main area of interest is always the topic of furry sexuality. So, I propose that we should do our own statisical poll into furry sexuality.

Seeing as we have done polls before (as in Issue 2) I don't see why we can't do it. I have A-levels in Maths and Further Maths so I know quite a bit about surveys, how to write them and so on, and there is plenty of free suvery creating software programmes such as Createsurvey.com and Surveymonkey.com. We can announce it in Issue 4, and release the results in Issue 5 or 6.

I have given a thought on some of the questions that could be asked. There are obvious ones such as people's/furries sexuality, their view on yiff, as well as other topics such as their view on furry relationships in the media.

  5. Here's something for the mediaphile section.

Scrooge McDuck has been honoured as one of the most famous residents of Glasgow.

  6. I'm working on something for this issue, though I have no Idea if it'll be ready by the 25th November. Chances are it'll end up in issue 5 for the new year. Also, I'm still working on the 'How to build a fursuit' guide. Was trying to have that ready for issue 3 :(

  9. Here's something else.

On Wikipedia, the Furry WikiProject (lead by GreenReaper) is offering money to improve furry Wikipedia entries.

$150 will be given to anyone who gets an article to "Featured article" rank (the highest rank any article can reach on Wikipedia). $50 will be given for an article which reaches "Good article" status. However, only 10 of these GA prizes will be given, an 2 have gone already. (Coincidently, I was one of the two who got bounties - the article I improved was about Jack.)

  12. Good news, I have created my furry sexuality survey! If you wish to answer it now, you can do. I'll write an introduction to the survey to be published in the next issue of TFT.

  13. The only complaint anyone has (so far) with the survey is the lack of an option for transgender folks/fursonae. I recommend adding one ASAP!

  14. That would be a bit difficult. If I were to change on of the questions, that would mean the whole survey will have to re-start. We already have over 50 responses, so those results will have to be deleted.

Do you think I should still change it and start the survey from square one, or leave it as it is with the results we have?

  15. Hrm. Be best to leave as is I guess, but make note about how there may be some problems too.

In addition, someone also requested one for monogamous/polygamous relationships.

  16. I can't really add new questions as well. The only changes I can really do are say spelling corrections - Things that won't change the structure of the questionare.
