The Furtean Times

The Furtean Times is a fanzine aimed primarily at the British furry community. It is released on a quarterly basis (equalling four editions per year) and works largely as a way to publicise the opinions of furries on subjects such as the news and drama, as well as a showcase for artwork and other related media. All content is donated to the fanzine at no cost.

The idea was brainstormed by Tori Belliachi on March 25th, 2007. He had previous experience in amateur publishing and journalism, and recently that light had been rekindled. At this time he was also becoming deeply involved in the furry fandom, and so launched a community built online fanzine where anyone could contribute.

Tori, also passionate about graphic design, released the first two editions of the ‘zine in what became later known as the “JPEGs on a webpage” fashion, as to retain design quality. However, due to complaints about this, the third edition was released as a regular webpage.

The Furtean Times is always looking for new additions. So if you’ve got ANYTHING to say, email it in and we’ll publish it! Be sure to include any extra information about yourself you want printing! Submissions are preferred in .txt, .rtf or .odt formats. Any images must be attached to the email and should be cleanly edited.
